Judge Mary Kate Mullen has dedicated her legal career to public service, courtroom advocacy, and the administration of justice in Suffolk County. Elected to the Suffolk County District Court in November 2022, Judge Mullen currently serves as an Acting County Court Judge and presides over domestic violence matters, as well as felony, misdemeanor, and violation-level offenses. Her more than two decades of courtroom and legal experience include service as a prosecutor, trial attorney, private-practice litigator, Town of Islip Councilwoman, and now as a judge.
